Rita studied at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) in 2002. She has been practicing for 18+ years in various outpatient settings in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Kansas. She is a lifelong learner and has continued her education in some of the most highly regarded and well-researched treatment methods, including the McKenzie method which is a biopsychosocial system of musculoskeletal care emphasizing patient empowerment and self-treatment. Rita recently completed her Advanced Scoliosis Education and Training and is now BSPTS C2 Certified in Scoliois Specific Exercises through the Schroth-Barcelona Institute. She is excited to bring The Schroth Method to the Treasure Valley as a non-surgical treatment option for treating Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, Kyphosis, Adult-Onset Scoliosis, Degenerative Scoliosis, and other painful Spinal Deformity conditions.
